Working out with kettlebells is mostly comprised out of 4 basic motions that you later combine for more elaborate exercise routines. These movements are: swinging, holding the kettlebell with both arms, holding it using one hand, and snatching. Which of these motions you prefer should depend on your fitness goals and the weight of the kettlebell.
During my 30-day weight loss challenge where I lost 18 pounds, I requested a few gifts that I thought would help me. Father’s day ended up falling in the middle of the challenge and provided the perfect opportunity to acquire these inexpensive items. I’ve already talked about the ab wheel and compression shorts that I received and asked for. Both of them have been proven to be very useful since I got them. However, there is one more present that has been a time saver and motivator – a smart scale.
For busy people like myself, every minute is precious. Yes, I realize the importance of stretching before exercising. It’s just that I would prefer to spend that time doing something that would benefit my body instead of just protecting it. After using the Ab Carver Pro, I believe I’ve found the perfect tool for the job.
I had a lot going on personally during this challenge. There’s never really an opportunity where there’s a lull in my life for 30 days. Holiday’s, birthdays, and other special occasions are a common occurrence and I knew that they would factor in during this time. It doesn’t make sense to wait for the best opportunity and say, “Hey, this month looks pretty clear on the schedule.” Even if that’s true, something stressful is bound to happen. When it does, it’s easy to give yourself an excuse to be bad and order or dine out.
While these style of shorts are comfortable for me during exercising, I never fully realized how much of a hinderance they were. If I’m performing mid and upper-body kettlebell exercises, my shorts didn’t really affect me. It’s when I start moving around and going to the ground with the kettlebell that problems occur. Allow me to explain.
Before I came up with Game of Bells: Swinging to 300, I created another method to do 300 kettlebell swings in a workout session. It doesn’t involve downsizing or switching weights. It should be done with whatever current kettlebell weight you’re comfortable with. For myself, that weight is 35 lbs.
Let’s just say that is it really good if you’ve decided to work on your body. Physical activities are perfect for the health and for the posture. You can avoid a ton of health problems just by keeping a healthy diet and doing a lot of exercises. Many people seem just to want to eat and spend the rest of the day lying in bed doing nothing. This will not only get you fat, but it can cause some health problems as well. That’s why deciding to start working out is the first step to a more vibrant lifestyle.
If you thought sports are an activity that only youngsters practice over the summer, are you were wrong. In reality, only some outdoor sports are played outside when the weather is nice and you definitely don’t have to be a pro athlete to pick up a sport. In fact, everyday folk like you and I could benefit from a moderate physical activity even when we become seniors. From the first step we make in our life all the way to the very end, we are physically active, so there is no reason not to do sport. Here are just X great sports that any person can pick up, regardless of his or her age.
